weekly horoscope............CANCER......

Your horoscope - Week of July 6, 2009

Mercury in your sign heightens your natural emotional intelligence and enables you to handle those sensitive issues in your life with a touch of genius. As there is going to be a Lunar Eclipse in your opposite sign of Capricorn on Tuesday, you may find that partnership issues come to the fore. This isn't the best time to make any sudden decisions unless you're pushed to do so. It's better to wait until three or for days after the Eclipse so you can get some distance from events and make a more informed choice.

Revenge is complete for Japan....A message from Jerry Witt.........

Revenge is complete for Japan

On Dec. 7, 1941, the United States of America was attacked by the Japanese military. America was caught flat-footed; we were way behind in materials, men, training, logistics, and the plain art of fighting a war. After Pearl Harbor was bombed, President Franklin D. Roosevelt ordered Auto manufacturers to stop producing cars for domestic use. The last cars rolled off the assembly lines in early 1942 as automakers converted their factories to make war products such as ambulances, tanks, trucks, jeeps bombers, guns, engines and ammunition. Detroit ranked No. 1 in the nation in war production. The Detroit metropolitan area produced 70 percent of Michigan's total output. Automakers dominated war production.

Chrysler had a long way to go, and a short time to get there. Under the vision of Walter P. Chrysler, and Walter Reuther, President of UAW, Chrysler went into the war making business. Not one item that the United States government called upon Chrysler Corporation and the UAW to develop, manufacture, or even invent, got away. All projects were completed way under cost, with unparalleled quality, built with the understated pride.
Michigan was dubbed the "Arsenal of Democracy" by President Roosevelt.

The Big Three Automakers and their suppliers produced $30 billion worth of military equipment from 1942 to 1945. Hundreds of thousands of UAW members that included your aunts, great aunts, moms and grand moms worked in plants (alongside of men) building bombers, tanks, and trucks at a great sacrifice to their family. They were known as Rosie the Riveters. Their mission: to defeat the Japanese who attacked us with their kamikaze pilots at Pearl Harbor.

Yet today, the majority of Americans are helping the Japanese defeat the very Autoworkers and UAW Union that stood in the gap for America and help them defeat the Japanese who attacked us without provocation. You unmercifully attack union people as no good and useless. Even though it was the union people of the Big Three that helped defeat the Japanese Army.
Even though thousands of union people fought and died in the wars since World War II/

Today, thousands of union people are fighting and putting their lives on the line in Iraq, for Americans like you and I as I write this letter.
Yet, many Americans are buying Japanese cars at record pace. How many Japanese do you see driving American cars? Not many. Japanese people are loyal to their nation and to their culture, unlike many Americans. This Marine and Vietnam Veteran will not dishonor those soldiers that fought or died at the hands of the Japanese during World War II by helping the Japanese destroy the very companies and people who supported and helped our soldiers to defeat the Japanese in World War II.

In conclusion, to every American who is supporting the American car companies and their employees by buying their products, I want to say thank you. Thank you for supporting us, our families, our communities and those who have benefited in our communities by auto workers spending their paychecks at local businesses supporting their communities and neighbors.
To you Americans who have bought Japanese, you should be ashamed of yourself, for the hundreds of thousands of job losses (union and non-union
jobs) at the Big Three. You should be ashamed of yourself for the hundreds of thousands of job losses in our communities. You have affected waitresses, bank tellers, retail employees, small businesses (going bankrupt), communities and schools that have had to cut back in essential services, because of the loss of tax revenue, created by the loss of over 400,000 jobs in the Big Three and thousands of jobs by their suppliers.
You should be ashamed of yourselves for all the hardships you have brought to blue collar families (union and non-union). You should be ashamed of yourself for helping the Japanese defeat the Big Three. The war is over, the Japanese smell victory over the Big Three Automakers, that brought defeat to them in World War II. Revenge is complete for Japan. One last thought, how many Japanese citizens are fighting and dying for you in Iraq today?

George Carlin was the man...........

A Message left to us by the late George Carlin:

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.

We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when the technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...

Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..

If you don't send this to at least 8 people....Who cares?

George Carlin
